the forgotten shoe
so after my morning shower i ran to my closet to find clothes my eyes shifted to a nike box that was collecting dust on a shelf. and found these....

today i had to run to the library to return some books and pick some up. growing up i was the loner type and my escape was books. today i needed a picture book to read to my boujee and and a book for me so i picked up 'cloudy with a chance of meatballs' and 'mama black widow', two of my all time favorite books.

wtf???? the latest internet craze seems to be woman (mostly black) 'twerkin'. to some its cute and erotic, personally that shit is straight trash. i'm not trying to come off as self righteous, i'm no angel myself but really this has to stop. its already very hard for black women to be taken seriously and this twerkin' mess makes it even harder.
strip clubs exist and there are women who do this for a living. i don't look down on them because i don't know their stories and why they do what they do, but at least their getting paid. this girls are on the internet giving that shit away for the FREE(treated).
after watching a few of this videos these girls can't be too proud of their choices because they rarely show their faces. i think they cut out or hide their faces because deep down they know that shit is a mess and would be utterly embarassed if someone they knew saw it and found out.
can we please stop this twerkin' shit via the internet...leave it in your bedrooms and at strip clubs.

what rach rocked: the sweater dress
its cold in chicago now....i put on a scarf and gloves to go to school this morning(it was like 70 degrees two weeks ago....TREATED). the past weekend i was still trying to fight the cold, i lost the fight though. feeling defeated i was rummaging through my newly cleaned closet(it was bad) and found this sweater dress i bought at macys about a year ago. it saved my day, teamed with mustard yellow leggings and my sweater boots, i looked good...OOWW!!!

i love a rainy day....
...today was rainy and wet, its the fall in the chi seriously so i was trying to stay warm and enjoy my day. so i started my day off by cooking breakfast for me and the kid sister....

...after breakfast was over i had a brief run in with a poison apple. it was not enough to deter my mission of being creative to so i popped in my two favorite movies and got moving....

about a month ago ma red and i went one of our famous shopping trips. wasn't having much luck, and i was quickly getting disappointed. with my height, its hard to find clothes that make me look 20(my true age) as opposed to 15. now im not stuck up so i'll shop almost anywhere...we ventured into the oakbrook t.j. maxx...it was heaven, then i found the perfect rain boot. so i guess happy shopping trips can happen for short girls like me too.
