The Old Ladies Rebellion

i was blog surfing and came across a fashion on highsnobette.com, called 'Introducing :The Old Ladies Rebellion'. Fanny Karst designer of 'The Old Ladies Rebellion' reminds us that there are more people interested in fashion than just hipster chic 20 so and so's. this line in particular reminds me of my father's mother. from the clothing style to the model who look alot like my grandma. before my grandmother's mind with althimzers she was a very successful seamtress and she dressed in her own clothes that look like her work

i love this line because it embodies the type of woman i called grandma johnnie , infinite style and grace....

Nike Aqua Print Mesh Tank @Caliroots

mesh clothing scream late eighties but seriously, they are really partical for water sports and hot days. nike went so hard with this tank. even the bumblebee colorway is deadly. as shown in the pics this can be a great look with jeans and the right kicks.

thanks to highsnobette.com

We Heart Vera

the "we heart vera" champagin is perfect for the spring of 2010, bright, colorful, full of many shapes and color, its music for the eyes. extremely well put together.

Blumarine Autumn/Winter 2009

so i'm a firm believer in color. its a very key point in fashion, art, and life. badge and black are cool but there are so many more colors in life. and i stumbled upon pics of the BLUMARINE autumn/winter line for 09 and i am truly inspired. i have over 50 pics but i'm only gonna to put up my favorite top seven(i love that number), and they were hard to do.

one of my favorite glamour girls Omahyra Mota

Omahyra Mota was born Omahyra Mota Garcia on November 30, 1984 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. in 1994 she moved to new york with her mom, grandma, and two sisters. at age 16 she launched her career with Boss Models. she's more than a pretty face, she formed the punk band O.M.I., the group contained fellow models Mayana Mayana Moura and Isabel Ibsen, but the group disbanded when Moura left for brazil to study.

Mota has graced the runway for designers like Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Cynthia Steffe, Fendi, Nina Ricci, Sean John, Baby Phat, Heatherette, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roca Wear, Samantha Treacy, Jay McCarroll, and Gwen Stefani.

She's no stranger to the silver screen. Mota appeared in Brett Ratner's After the Sunset,State Property 2,X-Men movie, and X-Men: The Last Stand. She was a wonderful villian in both X-Men as Arclight

She's more than a pretty face, Mota has proved that good things come in three's as an actress, performer, and finally model. she's another one of my sheroes! hats off to you Ms Mota.
