effective monday, may 4th, public school misfit's guide 2 life, is hitting the road for a two week stay in huntville, alabama. just because we're leaving the city doesn't mean we wont keep you posted, take pics of the fashion and sights.....we're going going down down to albama bamy (don't judge the music)....YAY!!!!

i'm such a chicago girl i love every part of my city and i'm always going somewhere looking for new places to shop. so if one day i was strolling through the wicker park neighborhood..home to trendy places like leaders, st. alfred's, the silver room, and others and i passed a store that i had been intended to go in but never really poked my head in and i walked in....Pitaya....from the moment i walked in i knew this would be one of my go to places from now on. Pitaya is what every fashionable young lady would love for her closet to look like. its not to in your face, its the perfect mix of day n' nite.

i just bought this dress and im dying for the weather to break...so i can free it from its bag in my closet.....its defiantly an attention grabber!

Its april and the seasons are changing, its time to store away your heavy winter coats, scarves, and gloves! New flowers bloom and so is new fashion...in a sleepy little town named Chicago...DiLi Designs is blooming. The creative force behind the DiLi Designs powerhouse, Leah Walker(Chicago, Illinois) and Deidre Trent(Canton, Michigan),are two students attending the Illinois Institute of Art- Chicago. Unfortunately i was unable to attend their unvailing...but i have pictures. so last nite in a sleepy lil midwest town named "Chicago" there was a little party called "Wonder Years Vol 3"....a leaders event, many ppl gathered in the spirit of the season to see old friends and talk about old times...and juke they asses off......so all were having a good time.....backs were bounced and broken twice.....on the floor and on the sidewalk.... and we cracked the club's top floor....it was really that many ppl on the second level...and then an old familiar face decided to act stupid and the guys in slim fit jeans showed them that even though they are fashionable they can and will throw hands....sadly the performances portion of the show was cut out due to the fighting....but overall a goodtime was had

so because i'm always with the dynatic duo nick-n-beans i meet alot of people....all over the board....well not too long ago the guys informed me that they had an 11o'clock photo shoot.....not in the am....the pm people i'm like wat the sam hill so they give me the address and low and behold its like right down the street from my crib...im like yo i know where thats at....we walk in and the photo shoot is underway....so i sit back and watch the guys work the camera (work it darlin') and im like ok they're fine, but i got a chance to look at the photos as they were taken and the guy is the truth.....so if you ever need shoot....get at my guy Ten......he's dope in the game.....

picture this.....freshcut.....fly dress....heels....makeup flawless.....walking into a ghetto ass club....now dont get me wrong....i'm hood girl revamped but this is not how i planned to spend my b-day...so i'm sitting in the back of the club with my party a little annoyed..... then this kid walks to where we're sitting and he starts talking to my buddy....and she's like yo me and him were in this spoken word ya diggg...low key he's the truth....im like yea....couple minutes pass and none of us are impressed with the scene....so this guy start freestyling....i mean he getting off....im like ok dude is dope....midnite comes and everyone in my party hugs me like yo happy birthday and then dude is like yo happy birthday....little did i know im sitting next to dave coresh.....i'm like geesh thanks for the wishes....fam is really cool and i happen to be a fan of his music....check him out.... this is his first mixtape
