one day i was chilling with my homie and was rummaging thru the house's dvd collection and came across a show called "WEEDS". naturally my curiosity had me wondering what the show was about so after burrowing it, i realized i love this show. i even got my mom and sister watching the show. we all the finished the first season and now i'm up watching the second season. this show is on my must watch list with "sex and the city". if you've never seen it you should take some time out of your schedule and put netflix to use and catch up on the show. i'm not sure if the show is still airing but it comes on showtime...

yesterday was christmas(que applause). anyway every year my family gathers at my grandparents house to exchange gifts and have christmas dinner. over the years i have gotten some pretty ummm weird gifts from my family but i usually smile and say thank you and keep it moving.

my family is coming around to understanding that its just best to give the grandchildren gift cards, checks, or cash(even my grandparents gave me a gift card...big ups to the og's for that one), but my mom's youngest sister seems to have missed that memo. so when i was like ten, for some random reason i wanted a bed canopy. my parents told me no and i got over it and almost forgot about wanting one until yesterday. my aunt handed me my brightly wrapped gift and waited for me to rip through the paper. as i opened it, i'm sure i had a "what the hell" expression written all over my face....i got a bed canopy. i know its the thought that counts, but seriously this might get regifted and regifted soon. next year i'd much rather socks....

YES!!!!(in my best carrie bradshaw voice) i am a die hard SEX AND THE CITY fan. o my god i died when the first movie came to theaters. now the new movie is set to come to theaters May 2010. i am uber excited for this. i find myself being the black young carrie and she is the fiercest white girl to grace the screens! now all i have to do is find the perfect person to go see this with...cause i know u.c. isn't trying to have any part in this...lol that's fine cause he knows i'm not watching the finals with him!

this is what happens when people harass others for having alternative lifestyles. i have friends and family members who are in the LGBT community and they have told me horror stories about what it feels like to be harassed and made the butt of a social joke.

this picture got me thinking about something: most people that badger them are horrifically dressed, with ugly shoes, and bad hair. ugh these people need to go sit down and stop hating their lives and revamp their closets. i'm quiet sure that this woman really hated the fact that her mission to be a douche was throttled by a quick witted,stylish gay man...

now its things like this that grind my gears. last summer i was extremely single and playing the field when i met this guy who shall remain nameless. now he wasn't some big summer love to be totally honest i wasn't attracted to him in the least bit, we were only friends. he tried everything to convince me to date him. but as luck would have it, just as he started dancing on my last nerve i was informed that he had a girlfriend. now that may shatter some girls, but i was extremely relieved to find out that i wouldn't have to act like i liked him anymore. but the fates were not done with me yet. his girlfriend decided to start trying drag me through the mud. i had to kinda explain to her that her boyfriend pursued me...i guess love must be right blind because he told her that it was i on the chase. so after i cursed him and her out, i stopped talking to him.

every now and then i will get a random chat from him and most of the times i play nice and entertain his conversation for a few minutes. but as you can see from the chat, i was not in the mood today. now i don't think that i was extremely rude (i can get really mean if i want to), but am i the only woman that doesn't cozy up to liars. ugh.

Hi Fashion Snow Toys (Gift List '09)

ever heard of Cadillac, Michigan? if you not a winter games person then probably not, and that's only if you're a midwester(no its not a word but you get what i mean!). well i haven't been skiing in a long while, i spent one winter vacation there with my mom and sister. i had a lot of fun until i twisted my ankle, even then i just enjoyed hot chocolate from the lodge. now i haven't been snowboarding in a while, i would love to go sometime in the near future(this winter would be nice). in my random searching of the world wide web, i stumbled upon the most fashion foward snow board floating around. Chanel just put out the newest boards. i need one of these (preferably the all black board).
